Strategic Plan For Higher Ed NonProfit

The goal of this exciting project was to develop a 5-year strategic plan that embraced diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles and human-centered design. By leveraging the power of collaboration and innovation, we set out to create a plan that would not only provide clear guidelines for the organization but also enable it to navigate the rapidly changing landscape of the future with ease.
The outcome of this project was an inclusive and robust strategic plan that surpassed all expectations. By fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration, we were able to produce a plan that was not only firm enough to provide clear guidance to the organization but also flexible enough to adapt to future uncertainties.
As the project manager, I had the honor of leading this dynamic and multifaceted project. From start to finish, I was responsible for driving the project forward and ensuring that all stakeholders were engaged and informed every step of the way, that milestones were met, and that the client received a high-quality product.
The deliverables for this project included a series of engaging strategic planning workshops, immersive in-person workshops, and a finalized and branded strategic plan that will guide the organization towards a successful and inclusive future.

This project kicked off in July, with the final Strategic Plan presented to the Board of Directors at the beginning of December. I guided them through the writing and the branding of the Strategic Plan document.

As the project manger, I led the People Rocket team and the client team, communicating next steps, deadlines, and project needs. I worked closely with this client to ensure our teams were communicating and that deadlines were being met on both sides.

Strategic Plan For Healthcare Company

Partnering with a regional healthcare company that works with vulnerable populations, I worked with my team to create a 5-year strategic plan that was grounded in DEI principles and human-centered design. As the project manager, I led a team of experts in crafting an inclusive, community-driven plan that's flexible enough to adapt to any situation.
Our team utilized a hybrid approach to create an iterative and agile strategic plan that incorporated feedback from staff and the community. We led three staff workshops and three Strategic Planning Committee Workshops, as well as met with community members and similar organizations to gather quality data and ensure that stakeholders stayed on track.
The final product was a future-proof strategic plan that embraced DEI principles, human-centered design, and community feedback. The plan will guide the organization towards its goals while remaining flexible and adaptable to future changes.

Informational Video
People Rocket
Working with a large company in the food industry, I worked with my team to create an engaging and informative video for a large audience on a new, innovative technology in the supply chain. The outcome was a visually stunning and informative 2.5 minute video that effectively showcased the new product, its unique features, and its benefits to potential customers. The video successfully conveyed the key messages and brand personality of our client to their target audience.
As the project manager, I was responsible for overseeing the entire process, from conception to final delivery. Collaborating with the People Rocket team, the clients, and a video production company we established a clear understanding of the project objectives, scope, timeline, and budget.
I worked closely with my team and the video production company to develop a creative concept and script that would effectively communicate the product's unique features and benefits to the target audience. We conducted several rounds of revisions until we arrived at the final script that met the client's expectations.
I managed the day-to-day project activities and ensured that all stakeholders were informed and engaged throughout the process. Throughout the project, I monitored the progress of the video production team to ensure that they met the project milestones and quality standards. I coordinated with the video production team to ensure that the video shoot was successful and that all necessary footage was captured. I also collaborated with the video production team during the post-production process, including the editing, sound mixing, and final delivery of the video to ensure a high quality product.
To close the project, I conducted a final review of the video with all stakeholders to ensure that it met the client's expectations and was ready for release.
The deliverable for this project was a 2.5 minute video that showcased the new technology and it’s potential, and effectively communicated its unique features and benefits to potential customers. The video was a visually stunning representation of the client's brand and successfully captured their target audience's attention.

User Stories

Working with a large company in the food industry, I led a project to develop User Stories for an RFP.
Using an agile approach, I mapped out a comprehensive plan for the project, a schedule baseline to ensure we could deliver the work on time and on budget. Throughout the project, I directed and managed the team to ensure we stayed on track and met our goals. From daily stand-up meetings to regular quality reviews, I kept everyone on the same page and inspired them to do their best work. As the project progressed, I kept a close eye on our output to ensure we were meeting our sprint deadlines and delivering high-quality work. At the end of the project, I conducted a comprehensive retrospective to review our progress and gather insights for future projects. We then turned over the user stories to the team that would complete the RFP.
